All the Answers You Need

WHAT ARE YOUR FEES?

£55 per session. I also offer a free phone consultation and concessionary rates for students and single parents.
I offer a reduced fee for your first session as I really believe in the importance of the therapy relationship and I want you to feel I am the right fit for you.

HOW MANY SESSIONS WILL I NEED?

I offer a one off session, short term and long term options. There is no obligation on the number of sessions as everyone is different but 6-10 sessions is usually the amount of time needed to feel you've got something from your counselling.

AVAILABILITY

I work Monday evening, Thursday, Friday I have some availability during the evenings and weekends. I can offer fortnightly depending on your circumstances. 

HOW OFTEN ARE THE SESSIONS?

Sessions are usually weekly but I can also offer fortnightly and work around shift work.

HOW DO I MAKE A COMPLAINT?

If you feel unhappy about the service I have offered, I would always encourage you to speak to me about it first, so I be given the opportunity to understand things from your perspective and make amends but if you don't feel comfortable doing this then please contact the BACP on professional_conduct@bacp.co.uk

WILL EVERYTHING I TELL YOU BE CONFIDENTIAL?

I work to the Ethical Framework set by the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) so I protect the confidentiality and privacy of my clients. There are some exceptions to confidentiality such as serious harm to self or others, safeguarding concerns and involvement in or disclosure of illegal activity.
